Category 8 Technology and Testing Update

With the ever growing demand for bandwidth and high speed delivery of data, the IEEE and various other standards bodies have been developing new standards to help meet this growing demand.
Hosted by Wayne Allen, APAC Product Marketing Engineer – Fluke Networks, this presentation will explore some of the evolving standards and how they will impact on our industry. There will be a focus on the recently ratified Category 8 cabling standard, what are the different types of Category 8 and best practices related to how you field test a Category 8 installation and why it's important. Fluke Networks will also take the opportunity to introduce a new testing product that addresses these new standards.
Lucky draw and networking will take place once the formal presentations and discussions are complete at 5:30pm.

Wayne is a Fluke Networks product expert & is responsible for APAC pre-sales technical support. He has been with Fluke & Fluke Networks for over 25 years & was previously with Philips Scientific & Industrial Electronics (then agents for Fluke in ANZ). |
